Learn to Quilt - Patch Party

Many patterns are based on 4 patches or 9 patches in combination with other blocks, and essential for every quilter to master.
These blocks encourage the practice of accurate cutting, sewing ¼” seams, nesting and block arrangement.   

Where did they go?

In the afternoon, we will create some magic and make them disappear.   The final part of the class will be a show and tell of different uses for these disappearing patches.  

Skill Level: beginner
Skill Details: Skills practiced: Accurate Cutting Use of ruler Accurate ? inch seam allowance Matching and nesting seams Squaring a block
Requirements: 6 x 24 inch ruler, square ruler - 12" x 12" or larger is preferred; rotary cutter with new blade; rotary cutting mat; sewing machine in good working order with new needle; thread - neutral color such as cream, white or light gray; seam ripper; scissors, thread snips and quilting pins.
